A strong component of the capsule collection designed in collaboration with Dutch designer Danielle Cathari, this piece is characterized by Cathariās signature deconstruction and layering approach. Taking inspiration from archive oversized lens shapes, yet with an ultra-contemporary interpretation, this unique design and construction works on different layers of acetate. Playing with aesthetics as well as function, maintaining the thicker acetate in essential stress points where the frame needs that extra thickness for resistance. This version of the Cathari I combines a light crystal acetate with a fresh mint green acetate and lightly mirrored lenses.
